Task execution

Autonomous task execution by AI agents

In u0life, artificial intelligence can serve as a full-fledged task assignee on your team. Instead of manually copying data, writing routine copy, or editing website pages, delegate the task directly to an AI bot.

AI agents start automatically, analyze the task, execute it using neural models or external tools, attach a detailed completion report, and log real working time. Bot configuration and model selection are managed in the Connects section.

How task execution works

  • 1. Assigning the agent In the task card, select an AI bot as the assignee instead of a human user. You can use the built-in system bot or your own custom specialized bots.
  • 2. Immediate or scheduled start If the task has no date or is scheduled for today, the bot starts working immediately. If a future date or time is set, execution begins automatically at the scheduled moment.
  • 3. Autonomous execution The bot analyzes task details, client/project context, queries neural models, performs research, runs calculations, or updates content on connected websites.
  • 4. Report & time tracking Upon completion, the bot provides a structured summary report, updates the task status, and automatically logs an exact time-tracking record.
  • 5. Task chat & refinements If the result needs adjustments or the bot requests clarification, reply directly in the task chat — the bot preserves context and refines the outcome.

Managing bots in Connects

Managing AI assistants, choosing neural providers, and configuring models are centered in the Connects section. Detailed configuration guides are available in the Connects documentation.

Custom provider API keys Use personal API keys from Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, DeepSeek, and other providers for full cost control and direct access to cutting-edge models.
Specialized roles & prompts Create distinct bots for dedicated workflows: copywriting, analytical research, technical assistance, or web administration with customized system prompts.
Token usage & cost control Review detailed token statistics, task queues, and execution history directly on each bot’s profile page in Connects.
Website editing via CMS bridges Connect MODX Revolution, WordPress, or custom PHP sites using official u0life components to let bots safely update pages and content.
